New Hampshah

The second state on the recently visited places list is New Hampshire. It is a lovely little place and was made even lovelier by Jake's cousin's (now my cousin's, too!), Wookie and Felicia. They live in Wilton, NH and possibly have the most darling life of all.  After visiting their home, we headed up to Louden for Jake's race weekend with his work, SCCA Enterprises. Jake re-builds race car engines and had to do some compliance stuff at the race. It was a funny little peek into his life. Overall, New Hampshire (aside from the accent) is normal and really pretty!

The river within sight of Wookie and Felicia's house.

And, off to the races!
Entering the inside race track area (I'm sure it has an official name, but I don't know what it is).

The cars Jake builds the engines for. Spec Racer Fords.

Jake, taking care of business.
The funniest part of the race was the old guys who ride around on all kinds of weird things (golf carts, like this fellow, scooters, mopeds, etc.). This guy was especially grumpy, so I had to take a stealthy picture.

Shop talk

Wookie and Felicia took us to the locals spot, Petey's.

A cold, dreary day on the coast.

Seashells on the seashore.

Incoming tide.

And finally seated at Petey's. It was delish! I also lost a game with the crew and had to order my entire meal in a North-Eastener accent. I was terrible. "I'll have the ... watah?"

We also happened to find a very hilarious diner and took a series of diner pictures in our awesome hats.

Our goodbye to New Hampshire. Thanks for the ice cream!
