Bahsten

Our last stop on vacation was Boston, Mass. We had less than 24 hours to visit the city, but we packed in a full day, including walking the Freedom Trail, eating some Italian food in little Italy, and catching a Red Sox game that evening. All in all, Boston was a fun, historical little nugget in our vacation.

We started off our day with the Freedom Trail. Before we even got into the city, I told Jake that I hoped the trail would be marked with a painted red line that we could follow. Little did I know, that's exactly what they had for us and the thousands of children on field trips. Fool proof tourism at it's finest.

Jake forgot to curl his hair that morning... otherwise, they were twins!

I love the cobble stone streets!

My favorite part about this picture is the tour guide on the left in full costume.

The Old North Church!

The scene of "One if by land, two if by sea".

We visited the historic cemetery where Paul Revere was buried, but Jake loved this gravestone more.
We stayed in the Berkely 40 Hostel in downtown Boston. It was quite a change from our bed and breakfast's we had the previous evenings, but it was downtown and cheap. Done.

We were on the 7th floor and the view was awesome!

A blurry little picture of us at the game.

Red Sox vs. White Sox. Go Sox! :)
